
From 1 November, the Home Care Package (HCP) will be replaced with Support at Home (SAH) aligned with the new Aged Care Act 2024. These changes are because of federal government decisions.
We support around 450 people who will transition to the Support at Home System.
How will the changes affect Home Care clients?
No Administration Fees: They will no longer be charged a separate administration fee direct to your package.
Free Local Delivery: They will receive free local delivery (postcodes 4350 & 4352) (meaning delivery fees will no longer be charged to their Home Care package).
Flat Pricing: We are implementing a flat pricing structure to our entire range. This price includes all local delivery & any administration costs associated with Support at Home services.
$10 Crows Nest Delivery: Crows Nest SAH clients will be charged a $10 out-of-pocket delivery fee. This is reduced from the $40 that was charged to your Home Care Package.
$35 Regional Southern QLD Delivery: Regional Southern QLD SAH clients will be charged a $35 out-of-pocket delivery fee. This is reduced from the $40 that was charged to your Home Care Package.
7 Item Minimum Order Requirement: To make ‘free’ delivery viable for local SAH clients, customers need to order a minimum of 7 items.
iCooked Nutrition Standards: All our ‘Meals for One’ will have a minimum of 30g of protein, 1500kJ energy & be at least 380g based on the National Meal Guidelines & Dietitians advice.
What do Home Care Package clients need to do?
Nothing. They will be automatically transitioned to the Support at Home program and your current referral from your Home Care Provider will remain active. You can continue to order meals.

Support at Home (SAH) commences. All Support at Home orders have:
- Minimum order requirement of 7 items
- No administration or local delivery fees
- Out-of-pocket costs for Crows Nest & Southern QLD delivery
During the month of November, we will transition to a new Summer menu with flat pricing & improved iCooked Nutrition Standards. These will be available on the website.
The Spring menu items will be available until sold out.
1 December 2025
All menu items will be available at flat pricing & made according to the higher iCooked Nutrition Standards.
