We supply meals to remote teams & contractor workers throughout South Queensland & Northern New South Wales.  

Our delicious meals are popular with Farmers, Harvesters, Cotton Pickers, Truck Drivers, Remote Workers, Government Shift Workers, Long Stay Accommodation Providers, Seasonal Workers, Work Crews, Families dealing with illness or new babies, Rural Golden Oldies who don't cook & stock up their freezers!

Solution to feeding a team!

With the shortage of cooks & chefs able to travel to remote locations or deal with feeding shift workers, we have stepped up to provide our meals in bulk for these situations. Our meals are supplied frozen & can be stored for up to 12 months (from date of production).

Delivery for South QLD & Northern NSW

We pack your order frozen into cardboard cartons for secure transport.  Our team delivers for free for orders over $100 within Toowoomba & Highfields. We have partnered with The Farm Shop for delivery throughout South Queensland & Northern NSW.

The cost of the The Farm Shop deliveries is $33 for the first carton & $15 for each additional carton (please note this is accurate at September 2024, pricing variations may occur).

Our cartons are able to fit 40 of our 350g - 400g meals (Meals for One) or 30 of our 400g - 600g meals (large Meals for One & Medium).

Estimate for shipping for 100 meals is $63. 

Storage & Heating

Our meals are stored frozen.

They have a 12 month storage life from day of production. Simply keep them in your freezer! Before you heat them we highly recommend you defrost. Our dishes are microwave-safe & oven-safe (if you remove the plastic film!).

'Heat your meal while driving!'

Our 'Meals for One' size meals fit into 12volt camping ovens.

These ovens are available from camping stores for around $200 & work from a vehicle cigarette lighter.

 

Tax Deductibility

As of June 2024 we were advised that the provision of meals to employees by an employer, if provided on-site (at workplace) and the purpose is not for social reasons, is tax deductible and no fringe benefits apply.

This was general advice only, please check with your own accountant regarding your specific eligibility for tax deductibility based on your business circumstances.

 

Managing the Risk of Psychosocial Hazards at Work Code of Practice 2022

On the 1st of April 2024, Managing the Risk of Psychosocial Hazards at Work Code of Practice came into effect. This code applies to all work & workplaces across Australia. Employees are now responsible for managing employee psychosocial hazards related to:

    • the way the tasks or job are designed, organised, managed and supervised
    • tasks or jobs where there are inherent psychosocial hazards and risks
    • the equipment, working environment or requirements to undertake duties in physically hazardous environments, and
    • social factors at work, workplace relationships and social interactions.
