This has been a week lacking in our normal rhythm which was just so odd! Being closed yesterday didn't stop the work, we just cooked with intensity earlier in the week (5 days of work packed into 4 days!).
We also had our lovely Rosemary (school-based apprentice chef - below) have her formal. She is so grown up now & we are looking forward to having her in the kitchen full time next year!
Also note that as of NEXT THURSDAY 29th of September we have a NEW DELIVERY SLOT between 4.30 & 6.30pm. This is replacing the old slot & is a trial up to Christmas as we have had requests for a later delivery time.
Fun Facts:
We have two apprentice chefs at the moment, Susan (who has 20+ years experience in Hospitality & is getting acknowledged for her vast skill) & our school based apprentice, Rosemary who is not quite 18 years old. We treasure them both!
Once Susan graduated towards the end of next year, we will be looking for a new apprentice!
