There has been a flurry of cooking happening this week as we work hard to restock after a busy Christmas. It is so lovely to be surrounded by our team again!
Kristina is currently sorting Antarctica (our massive walk in freezer), Terri & Rosie are doing some final cooking for the Meal's for One and Maro is out delivering an order to Spar Mackenzie (who stock our products too!). And then we will all start on packaging the final menu items from the cooking this week.
You can still order for delivery today IF YOUR ORDER IS IN BY 12noon.
Coming Soon The packaging often takes longer then the actual cooking! Keep an eye out for the Cottage Pie , Butter Chicken & Bangers with Mash that will be available either Friday or Monday (depending on how fast we pack!).
THURSDAY DELIVERY SLOT TIME CHANGING to 2pm to 5pm We have had some changes to our teams work hours & availability (Emma is back from maternity leave soon & the lovely Barb is leaving us for study), so the flow on effect has been the decision to move this delivery run to earlier in the day.
PICKUP 8am to 2pm (Monday to Friday) OR BY APPOINTMENT As a way to mitigate the effect of not having a later delivery time, we are also offering collection by appointment. With the catering business we often work odd hours & will work with you to find a time that suits.
Fun Facts
Maz (abov) was in earlier this week, delighted to be back! This is her weighing spices. You can imagine that doing a pinch of salt for a meal for 4 people is one thing... doing it for a batch that will feed 60 people is another all together. So we have worked out how much a pinch weighs (yes, it made me giggle) and multiplied it out! This gives us a weight that is far more accurate than doing a lot of 'pinches'.
We still taste the dish at the end to make sure it has come out delicious!
