Char sui style barbecue pork spare ribs
We can thank Bill Granger for this great take on an old classic! This dish of boneless pork belly ribs comes marinated in a delicious blend of garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil and five spice powder.
To cook simply preheat your oven to 160 degrees. Line a deep roasting tray with foil, place a rack over the foil and add 1cm water to the base of the tray. Place the pork on the rack and roast for 1hour, brushing with the marinade every 15 minutes. Turn the ribs over halfway through the cooking time. Lift the ribs onto a board and chop into pieces to serve.
To serve we suggest steamed rice and broccolini or a mix of your favourite Asian greens.
