Why Choose Cooked?

Cooked is for busy people, people that don’t like cooking, people that may have been unwell or just plain tired.  

What we are offering is a selection of home made meals.  They are made from scratch by myself and a team of Mums using techniques and ingredients that you would at home. They taste homemade and are as good as if you had made them yourself at home (if you had the time).

Many of our meals are Gluten Free as we do not use flour as a thickener. Many are Dairy Free. Many are Vegetarian, some Vegan. The majority of them are child friendly due to the fact that my children eat them too (and believe me they are fussy!) Ingredients are available to see as you order so you can check their suitability.

Our meals change with the season. We offer different meals each week, however the more popular meals will appear more often on the menu throughout the year.

Meals will be available in various sizes. The Small size would typically feed two adults, the Medium serves three adults, and the Large serves four adults.  By subscribing to our weekly email you can keep up to date with what is on offer each week.  Subscribe >>

There will be no need to commit to ordering.  If you like the look of a meal item this week, then order up.  If not then maybe next week or the week after there will be something that you like.  You can order as much or as little as you like.

Bolognese1Each meal comes with instructions on how to reheat or cook the meal.  You may still need to boil some rice or steam some vegetables or throw a salad together to accompany the meal, but in most cases you should be able to get a complete meal on the table in about 30 minutes.  Most meals will be vacuum-sealed so they can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.  If you don’t use them in this time and they are suitable to freeze (which most will be) you can just pop them in the freezer and use them later.
