A great meal for sneaking in vegetables to unsuspecting children!
For the bolognese we saute onion, celery, carrot and garlic in olive oil, brown the pork & veal mince and add beef stock, salt & pepper, tomatoes, thyme and bay then cook in the oven for hours until the flavours meld.
We made the cheese sauce from butter, flour, milk, cheese, salt & pepper.
The cooked macaroni pasta is mixed with bolognese sauce, then topped with cheese sauce and sprinkled with more cheese.
To Cook: Cook from frozen. Warm oven to 180 degrees and cook for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through
